The University of Hawai’i men’s basketball team continues and ends its long November homestand Friday night when it plays host to North Dakota in non conference action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in BankOh Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center. The game will be televised live statewide on Spectrum Sports Channel 12 and carried live on radio via ESPN 1420AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Warriors are 5-2 coming off Monday’s 88-76 home victory over Hawai’i Pacific. North Dakota is 3-5 after a 78-69 win at Western Illinois on Nov. 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday’s home game is UH’s seventh straight after opening the season at Oregon on Nov. 4. In six home games so far, the Warriors are averaging 84.3 points per game and boasts a +16.5 scoring margin. They have trailed for only 8 minutes, 24 seconds in those six home games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have to be ready to play a full 40 (minutes) for whoever it is (we play),” said Hawai’i grad transfer center Isaac “Big Fish” Johnson. “Everybody wants to play us, and they want to be out there and they want to win. It doesn’t matter what level they are, if they’re in a power conference or lower ranking in the conference, or whatever it is. We have to be ready to play a full 40 minutes and be locked into the scout, locked into personnel and whatever the coaches have prepared for us.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
