The annual Coaches vs. Cancer fundraising dinner is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday in the Ed Wong Hospitality Suite at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Event guests will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with coaches from the 60th Annual Outrigger Rainbow Classic over pupus and drinks, and can also bid on prizes.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will stay in Hawai’i to support the American Cancer Society Clarence T.C Ching Hope Lodge, ensuring a “home away from home” for cancer patients and their families/caregivers while they seek life-saving treatment on O’ahu.
UH head coach Eran Ganot and his family are the official hosts of the event and have pledged to donate $1,000 as a challenge to other donors.
