
The University of Hawai’i men’s basketball team will be hosting three separate four-day youth basketball camps in June and August, featuring skills, drills and competition.
The two June camps, open to boys and girls ages 6 through 17, are set for June 10 through June 13 and June 24 through June 27. The August camp, which is restricted to boys and girls ages 6 through 12 (no 7th-graders), is set for Aug. 5 through Aug. 8.
The camps include teaching and coaching fundamentals of basketball skills from all areas including passing, cutting, ball handling, shooting, scoring, finishing, defending and more. Games and competitions ranging from individual shooting to 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 will also be included. Coaching will provided from the UH men’s basketball staff and student-athletes. Camp registration, which costs $275, includes a University of Hawaii camp t-shirt and a basketball. Camp attendees are asked to bring their own home lunch.
Session #1: June 10-13 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily*) – Gym 1 & Gym 2
Session #2: June 24-27 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily*) – Gym 2 & Stan Sheriff Center
Session #3: Aug. 5-8 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily*) – Gym 2 & Stan Sheriff Center (NOTE: Per NCAA rules, students who have started 7th grade classes by Aug. 5 are not permitted to attend this session)
* Campers bring own lunch/snack each day
June Camps are open to any and all entrants (Boys and Girls) ages 6-17
Open to the first 150 participants for each session
Registration ends at 4:30 pm on the business day before each camp session
No walk-up registration accepted
$35 cancellation fee and non-refundable 6 percent processing fee will apply
