The University of Hawai’i men’s basketball program will host its 10th annual Tip-Off banquet on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. The Tip-Off, sponsored by Bank of Hawai’i and the Tony Group, is a festive evening that officially signals the start of the college basketball season while raising vital support for the Warriors basketball program.

For the past nine years, the banquet has grown into one of the premier fundraising events within UH Athletics and arguably one of the best events of its kind in the nation. This year’s event carries extra significance as the program celebrates a decade of community support, builds on the momentum of last season’s Big West Championship and prepares to embark on an exciting new chapter in the Mountain West Conference.

“We are incredibly grateful to the businesses, donors, alumni and supporters whose generosity has helped us reach this special 10-year milestone,” Warriors coach Eran Ganot said. “We look forward again to hosting one of the most enjoyable evenings of the year. The feedback has been incredible over the last decade, and we anticipate another sell-out crowd. The excitement surrounding our program continues to grow as we transition to the Mountain West, and we look forward to making this anniversary event our most memorable one yet.”

The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with drinks and a silent auction, followed by dinner and a program featuring video highlights, a live auction and a Q&A session with the 2026-27 Warrior players and coaching staff. It is a prime opportunity for fans to meet the team up close before the season begins, as UH features 12 newcomers on this year’s squad.

Tables and individual tickets can be purchased by downloading and completing the registration form at https://hawaiiathletics.com/documents/2026/9/7/Tip_Off_Registration_Form_2026.pdf

All proceeds from the evening directly support the Men’s Basketball Coach’s Fund, in addition to providing essential resources for student-athlete health and nutrition, recruitment and retention, education and overall development.
